Tsitsikama - Mooi Bay - 2

Description

This is a rework of Tsitsikama - Mooi Bay
Eugene (harrietsfriend ) took the time and effort to show me that there was more in it that I had put up. It has taken me a while to play with it to find 'my' voice in his valuable input, and to try to reproduce those elements.
So, with a level horizon, and the exposure and saturation adjusted, here is version 2.

Many thanks to Eugene for taking the interest and making the effort. It really made me think about the post-process a lot more, and work the edges of what can be got out of an image.

Vision:
Great motive. There is a taste of solitude, enhanced by the frame of the desolate rocks. At the same time the characters action makes you wonder if he is overthinking some sinns or just relaxed and playfull despite the surrounding.

Originality:
Well as each frame shot actually is unique it is original too. As the emphasis it on the character I wonder if it would have been better filed under street photography.

Technique.
Well done. You struggled with it and it payed off. It is a beautifull shot, well balanced in color, contrast and space.

Impact:
Absolutely. It's not like I write Critiques all the time but sometimes when a oicture makes an impact I will <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt=":-)" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="392" title=":-) (Smile)"/> Well done my friend. This is a beauty that should be printed and framed.
