I wanted to see how the a57 worked with my macro kit. Having usable ISO 3200 makes working with the lens extended 15cm a lot easier. And the electronic viewfinder is a boon in the very low light situation - focusing is much easier.
Overall: very happy.

Things look different when you get in close. I also like the way the different textures appear.
