CapeTown mid-winter from Sunset beach - panaroma

Around 180^os of Table Bay, from the Mountain to Robben Island.

Prompted by jennystokes midsummer postings and musings, here's what the midwinter day (well 2pm, 22 June), looked like in Cape Town. Between cold fronts, it is still beautiful - mostly close to 20^oC during the day, and not much below 10^o at night.
But when the cold fronts pass, the waves have run the length of the south Atlantic, and can be pretty fearsome, driven along at 40-80kmh. People don't go surfing then, and even some of the big ships have been known to head around the peninsula to False Bay to avoid the pounding.

The panaroma was stitched in camera - I'm quite impressed at how well it does, if handled correctly. Needed a little retouching at one seam, and a contrast adjust.
(Although I wonder if dA ran an unsharp mask over it in the processing stage - a couple of seams seem to be more visible now. Oh well.)
